I’ve been working as a teacher in vocational education and training, higher education and adult education in the area of health and care for more than 20 years.
The focus of my teaching is at Saxion University of Applied Sciences (Enschede/Netherlands), where I teach at the School of Social Work. I also teach at MEU (Magdeburg/Germany) in the area of Clinical Psychology and Psychological Empowerment. My activities comprise teaching, assessment and curriculum development in courses on research in social work, professional development, psychology, technology, and writing.
In addition, I work as a freelance trainer in vocational education and training and adult education for several organisations in Germany. In the past, this has included courses and workshops on topics such as client-centred counselling, rational-emotive therapy and hypnotherapy. Currently, my training courses focus on the topics of digitalisation and artificial intelligence in various fields of social work and related areas.
